The Rutgers-Camden Business Incubator encourages entrepreneurs to locate their businesses in Camden and assists them with low-cost office and conference space, technical support services and mentoring for successful startup. The incubator provides the safety net needed during a new company's most critical and vulnerable period. Located in a 20,000 square foot facility, the incubator is funded through a partnership of Rutgers University, the Delaware River Port Authority, NJ Commission on Science and Technology and US Department of Commerce. By helping high-tech firms and other professional service providers to grow and put down roots in Camden, the incubator brings new jobs to the city and contributes to its economic redevelopment and revitalization.
