Rutgers Camden Technology Campus, Inc. (RCTC) is a not-for-profit, 501(c)3 New Jersey Corporation organized by Rutgers University – Camden to further economic development and high tech job creation in the City of Camden. RCTC holds a lease agreement with the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) to occupy space at its Waterfront Technology Center at 200 Federal Street, Camden, NJ. The Rutgers Camden Business Incubator is primarily a science, technology and health care incubator/accelerator established to support early-stage companies in Camden and the Greater Camden region as they create economic wealth through (1) commercialization of science and technology, (2) development of new business ideas, (3) attraction of capital investment and (4) creation of new jobs. The Incubator supports its early-stage client companies by providing an array of strategic business development services, operational guidance and infrastructure support.
The eight plus years since its inception, the incubator has attracted over $45 million in third party financing, generated over $56 million in revenues for the region and graduated nineteen client companies onto bigger quarters.
