  • NJCST Awards More Than $1.3 Million to New Jersey Incubators and Companies

  • Trenton –The New Jersey Commission on Science and Technology today announced the approval of more than $5.6 million in funding awards through its Grants and Aid programs… More than $1.3 million was awarded by the Commission to New Jersey Incubators including $55,810 for funding of the Renewable Energy Business Attraction Collaborative project from Rutgers EcoComplex and the Meadowlands Incubators. In addition, the Commission announced $271,920 in Incubator Seed Fund Grants to six companies that are located in one of the Commission’s supported technology incubators around the state… Full Article.

  • Newark, NJ – June 18, 2009 – The New Jersey Business Incubation Network, NJBIN, today announced four 2009 Pre-Seed grants of $55,000 to emerging high technology New Jersey companies from NJBIN business incubators located in Camden, Bordentown, Newark and Lyndhurst.   • Rutgers Food Innovation Center Director Lou Cooperhouse has been elected to serve a three-year term on the Board of Directors of the National Business Incubation Association (NBIA). NBIA - a private, nonprofit 501(c) (3) membership organization based in Athens, Ohio - is the world's leading organization advancing business incubation and entrepreneurship. An elected board of directors, representing the world's leading incubators, governs the association.
