New
Jersey Incubator Success Stories
Business Incubation programs act as engines, fostering
an entrepreneurial climate within local communities. They become focal
points that bring sectors of a community together. Examples are: business
school students who can conduct market studies; technologists who create
new products; financial advisors, business service providers and
government, all of whom can recognize the entrepreneurial revolution and
provide resources to catalyze it.
Business incubation is also a best value in our own
state of New Jersey,
as demonstrated by these results. In 2006, The New Jersey Business
Incubator Network and its members successfully added with its tenants 200
million dollars in revenue to the State of NJ creating over 1,600 new jobs.
NJIBN has been
organized recently and launched as an advocacy group whose mission is to
advance and promote business incubation in New Jersey.
